when dad walked out, she was alone

he was away from home, on stage

performing something that "means so freak'n much to lots of people"

or so he said

to her.

she thought and still thinks he's a coward

running away with his gray t-shirt and coming back

with a tattoo on the neck

"we do not look alike"

"he's a coward" she said, when taking out the trash, reading a book, washing the dishes,

waiting in front of the red light and in between commercials
